You come to your senses lying among the roots of a great and twisted tree in a woodland clearing. The sky is a deep, foggy grey. A misty haze lies draped over the forest before you. You do not know where you are nor how you came to be here. All you know is that you are being watched. A malevolent presence emanates through the mist and a pair of horrifying eyes peer at you from under the shadows of the canopy. Trapped in this warped realm, you are stalked by a terrifying creature, a hideous, burbling Thing that is following your every step. As the darkness grows and the creature’s fell words grow ever more tempting, will you lose yourself to the endless story, or learn the truth of this babbling beast and the corrupted realm over which it stands watch?
